"The point is that in addition to ‘silahturahmi’ with our brothers in Papua, our visit as well as handing over aid".
"Because when we came to Papua following the implementation of National Sports Week XX, we knew that the Baiturrahim Jayapura Grand Mosque had not been completed," said the Deputy Governor.
Therefore, he added, upon his return to Central Java, his party reported to the governor regarding Baiturrahim Grand Mosque and finally agreed to provide assistance.
Meanwhile, Papua Provincial Regional Secretary Ridwan Rumasukun appreciated the initiative and goodwill of the Regional Government of Central Java through Deputy Governor Taj Yasin.
Moreover, Baiturrahim Grand Mosque located in the central area of Jayapura City, can no longer accommodate pilgrims in the surrounding area. So it takes renovations to accommodate all people who want to come to worship.
