JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government continues to encourage the preparation of local E-Catalogs for Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) to be completed in August 2022.
According to head of Procurement of Goods and Services in Papua Regional Secretariat, Debora D. Salosa currently all staff are working hard through the selection and collection of local product data to be registered in the E-Catalog.
If as planned, E Catalog is confirmed to launch in August, to be used as appropriate by third parties.
"But we emphasize here that the products entering the Procurement of Goods and Services local E-Catalog have criteria, ranging from product registration, the use of components and finally certification, all of which must be made domestically as instructed by President Jokowi," explained Debora in Jayapura on Tuesday.
While for now, she continued, selection is still carried out on food products, beverages, uniform clothing convection, stationery and a number of construction equipment.
She hopes that the process will not encounter obstacles, because the Papua Provincial Government must boost about 40 percent of the Regional Government Budget this year, and must do domestic product shopping which is then described in the local E Catalog shopping.
"Because otherwise it can affect our Regional Government Budget in the next year, if the target of 40 percent of domestic product spending in this Regional Government Budget is not achieved," she concluded.
E-Catalog is an online shopping application that is disbursed by the Government Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP).
This application provides a wide range of products from various commodities needed by the government related to the needs of procurement of local government goods and services. ***
