JAYAPURA - The commemoration ceremony for the Proclamation of the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022 at the provincial level, will take place at the Aquatic venue courtyard, Lukas Enembe Stadium.

In addition to the proclamation ceremony, all activities of the Indonesian Independence Day this year will be centered in the Lukas Enembe Stadium area.

The implementation of activities at the venue of the former Papua PON, is part of the sustainability of the utilization of provincial government assets.

"According to the direction of the Governor of Papua, all venues must be utilized, therefore the Indonesian Independence Day this time is centered at the Lukas Enembe Stadium," he said in Jayapura, Monday (1/8/2022).

Musa'ad added that he will launch the lively events of the proclamation of Indonesian independence on August 6, 2022 at the Lukas Enembe Stadium.

The launching will become the marker to start the entire series of events to enliven the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

"There will be various competitions and social service activities such as blood donations, touring and other activities," he said.

Musa'ad added, in preparation for the Indonesian Independence ceremony, members of the Papuan Paskibraka have begun to undergo training at the Lukas Enembe Stadium.
