JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government held a free medical check-up in order to welcome the 51stIndonesian Civil Service Corps (KORPRI) Day, Friday, in Jayapura.
The activity began with a fun walk that started at 07:00 Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT) in Papua Bangkit Stadium, Jayapura Regency, Papua.
Assistant for General Affairs of the Regional Secretariat of Papua Derek Hegemur hopes that through this activity, it can foster a sense of unity.
So that the spirit of ASN remains, even though it has been divided into a number of provinces.
"This year we put it in a simple way where we start with a fun walk and then there are medical check-up such as glycerin checks, cholesterol, gout, blood pressure and even blood donations and vaccines," he said.
Derek added, apart from KORPRI members, his party is also open to people who want to do medical checks so that activities like this are expected to bring benefits by conducting early examinations.
"Finally, on November 29, 2022, there will be a KORPRI 51st Anniversary ceremony which will take place in the swimming venue courtyard," he said.
Meanwhile, fun walking activities are also enlivened by door prizes in the form of motorcycles, bicycles, refrigerators, televisions, air conditioners, and several other household appliances. ***
