JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government is confirmed to hold a flag ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day on June 1, 2023.
The flag ceremony was centered on the courtyard of the Governor's Office Dok II, Jayapura, at 08.00 WIT. While the Acting Assistant Secretary of Papua for Economic Affairs and People's Welfare, Suzana Wanggai acts as Inspector of Ceremonies.
"For the flag ceremony, invitations have been distributed to all civil servants and National Armed and Police Force. Assistant Suzana Wanggai was appointed as Inspector of Ceremonies to replace the Acting Governor," explained the Head of the Papua Communication and Information Department, Jery A. Yudianto, in Jayapura, Wednesday.
It is known that the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) of the Republic of Indonesia has released guidelines for commemorating Pancasila Day which is contained in the Circular Letter of the Head of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency Number 1 of 2023 concerning Guidelines for Pancasila Birthday Commemoration Ceremonies in 2023.
The theme raised this year is "Together Building Civilization and Global Growth". In addition to the theme, there is also a tagline used to enliven the commemoration of Pancasila Day in 2023. The tagline is "Actualization of Pancasila, Indonesia's Growth Energy". Meanwhile, the logo of Pancasila 2023 has red-and-white nuances like the Flag of the Republic of Indonesia. There is a figure of Garuda bird with its wings spread as the main highlight in the logo.
In addition, there is an inscription "Pancasila Day 2023" as the theme of Pancasila Day this year. ***
