JAYAPURA - In connection with the preparation and implementation of President Jokowi in Papua which uses the area of the Governor office Jayapura, the State Civil Apparatus in the local environment is instructed to carry out work and services from home or Work From Home (WFH).

This is according to the Head of the Papua Communication and Information Agency (Kominfo), Jeri A. Yudianto because the Papua Governor's office area is the venue for the Papua Street Carnival.

‘’The WFH of the officials and staff start from Wednesday to Friday, July 5-7, 2023. Even though they work from home, civil servants are required to complete the duties and responsibilities of the leadership," Jeri told reporters, Tuesday (4/7/2023) in Jayapura.

It is known that President Jokowi is planning to review the activities of the Papua Street Carnival which displays various creations of Papuan youth, in Jayapura City, Papua. Jokowi is planning to visit Papua on July 6 - July 7, 2023.

The agenda held by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is in collaboration with the Papua Provincial Government and the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH).   

"This Papua Street Carnival will involve thousands of  young creative  economy actors, thousands of performers, hundreds of fashion parades, and even hundreds of creative MSME exhibitions."

"Then there are hundreds of floats to carnivals that will display a variety of works and Papua's rich, beautiful and unique cultural heritage," said Jeri. ***
