JAYAPURA – The Daily Executive of the Governor of Papua, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, encourages all local Regional Apparatus Organizations to work hard to improve the achievement of the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) indicators in 2023.
This is as a manifestation and initial commitment of the Papua Provincial Government to implementing integrated corruption eradication program efforts in Papua.
"Since 2018, the achievement of Papua MCP value has continued to increase, in 2022 it has decreased due to the lack of implementation of several indicators in several intervention areas."
"Therefore, we invite Regional Apparatus Organizations to boost the value of MCP (2023), of course, as a manifestation and commitment to implement integrated corruption eradication program efforts," explained Governor Ridwan, in a written speech read by Papua Inspector, Anggiat Situmorang, at the Socialization of Fulfillment of MCP Indicators and Sub-Indicators 2023, Wednesday (5/7/2023), in Jayapura City.
The results of the MCP of Papua Province in 2022, State Civil Apparatus progressed by 55.91 percent. With details in the planning area at 60.25 percent, procurement of goods and services at 58.90 percent, licensing at 77.02 percent, APIP at 55.07 percent, State Civil Apparatus management at 42.01 percent, optimization of regional taxes at 74.42 percent and management of regional property at 16.66 percent.
Meanwhile, through the implementation of socialization activities, Governor Ridwan hopes to further strengthen and accelerate the implementation of corruption prevention programs in a structured, patterned and planned manner by each Regional Apparatus Organization.
The efforts to prevent corruption are the responsibility of all parties, so they must have a strong commitment to preventing and eradicating corruption.
"Therefore, I invite all parties to present here to jointly strive to carry out all requested activities in accordance with the indicators and sub-indicators contained in the MCP assessment guidelines and continue to strengthen integrity, transparency and accountability in carrying out our respective duties and responsibilities."
"On this occasion, I also invite all meeting participants to actively participate in discussions and make the best contribution in efforts to fulfill the 2023 MCP Papua indicators and sub-indicators. I also hope that the results of this coordination meeting can produce concrete decisions and can be implemented properly," said the Governor. ***
