JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government released 110 students who received scholarships for the ADEM (affirmation of secondary education) program to the best high schools / vocational schools in 5 provinces, namely Banten, West Java, East Java, DIY and Central Java.
The release of students by the Head of the Regional Education, Library and Archives Department of Papua Province, Christian Sohilait, representing the Daily Executive of the Governor of Papua, in Jayapura City, Saturday (8/7/2023).
The ADEM program scholarship delivery is the 11th since 2014.
These students are expected to attend the best educational institutions in Indonesia so that they become smart and qualified graduates.
"But also get to know the culture of the archipelago where they lived while studying ADEM, then build a good character," hoped Sohilait.
The students will depart Sunday from two airports. From Frans Kaisiepo Biak Airport as many as 50 people, and 60 people from Sentani Airport, Jayapura Regency.
All living expenses, tuition, practice and transportation costs are covered by the Ministry of Education and Culture for three years. ***
