Head coach Daud Arim said consistent performances from all players were key to victory in the first match. He hopes that in the next match, the players remain focused on the strategy applied.
"It's amazing that they played, so they could win hands down. We have four teams in 1 pool, so we have to win a lot," he said.
Despite winning hands down, David instructed his team to play better against the Ministry of Health on Sunday.
"The record must be better in terms of play for the Papuan team. But if you look at the game, maybe it's still a preliminary game, so it's not our set play yet."
"But I hope that when playing against the Ministry of Health, the players will be able to blend into the field well and can win again,” he said.
Korpri Papua futsal is in group A with Bappenas, Ministry of Health and Coordinating Ministry of PMK by playing a half-competition format of 62 participants of Pornas 2023 which is divided into 16 groups. All teams will compete for one or two positions to get into the last 32, with a knockout. ***
