JAYAPURA - To enliven the 78th the Indonesia Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, the Papua Communication and Informatics Department with the local Indonesian Government Science Society (MIPI), held the 2023 Informatics Logical Programming Competition (ILPC).
ILPC is an Information Technology (IT) development competition for high school / vocational students at the same level in Jayapura City and its surroundings.
"All high school students are given the opportunity to take part in this competition. Registration is free of charge and will open from August 10 to August 21, 2023."
"Then the Technical Meeting on August 23, 2023, and the competition on August 24, 2023," explained the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics, Jeri A. Yudianto, in Jayapura, Tuesday (8/8/2023).
Said Jeri, the competition aims to hone and measure the ability of high school students in Jayapura. On the other hand, it provides space for high school / vocational students to channel their hobbies and skills, especially in the field of logic (algorithm) programming.
"We want this programming algorithm to be more popular for the people of Jayapura. Because there are many advantages to mastering algorithms and other related fields. Especially now that we are in a world of work that is computerized. "
"The point is that this programming algorithm can really provide job opportunities for young Papuans who have talents and hobbies in this field," explained Jeri.
It is known for the competition material that will be contested, such as propositions, logic gates, relations and functions, algorithms and programming. The winners of the competition will compete for a total of IDR 22 million, a trophy and a certificate.
As for registration, each participant must represent the school and register directly at the Competition Committee Secretariat located at the Papua Communication and Informatics Office, on the 2nd floor. ***
