JAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun understands the important of doing sports for people's lives.

Therefore, he also encourages doing sports together with the community every Friday in the Lukas Enembe Stadium area, to cultivate healthy living.

"Because if we are healthy and fit, we can be productive well," explained Governor Ridwan, Friday (8/9/2023), when giving a speech at a joint sports event in the Lukas Enembe Stadium area, Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency.

Meanwhile, Governor Rumasukun in front of the people present expressed his gratitude for the support of the community who gave confidence to Lukas Enembe and Klemen Tinal for 10 years leading Papua.

He worked together with the two great Papuan leaders, and now he is given additional duties as Acting Governor.

"On behalf of Lukas Enembe – Klemen Tinal and the ranks, I would like to express my gratitude to the community for their support, so that they can lead two terms."

"In the course of many shortcomings and expectations that have not been met, many mistakes have been made. On behalf of individuals and governments, we apologize profusely for the inconvenience. We have done what we can but nothing is perfect. The support of the ladies and gentlemen to us, only God can repay it," he said.

Meanwhile, the sports event with the Acting Governor of Papua, the Local Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, the ranks of the Civil Servant at Provincial Government and the surrounding Jayapura residents, was lively. In addition to the fun walk, Governor Rumasukun also participated in healthy gymnastics which was followed by all local officials. ***
