JAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun encourages the holding of a sports agenda every Friday, together with all civil servants and communities in the Lukas Enembe Stadium area.

With regard to this agenda, he hopes that President Jokowi will immediately sign the Papua Presidential Regulation as a sports province.

"Hopefully what we make this time (holding sports every Friday) will be a milestone to realize Papua as a sports province."

"Initiated by Mr. Elia Loupatty, hopefully as soon as possible there will be a presidential decree for Papua to become a sports province," explained Ridwan, Friday (8/2/2023), on the sidelines of a sports event together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum and the people of Jayapura, in the Lukas Enembe Stadium area.

Ridwan Rumasukun on that occasion stated the important sports for people's lives.

Therefore, he also encourages the sports agenda together with the community every Friday in the Lukas Enembe Stadium area, to cultivate healthy living.

"Because if we are healthy and fit, we can be productive well," explained Governor Ridwan.

Meanwhile, Governor Rumasukun in front of the people present expressed his gratitude for the support of the community who gave confidence to Lukas Enembe and Klemen Tinal for 10 years leading Papua.

He worked together with the two great Papuan leaders, and now he is given additional duties as Acting Governor.

"I represent Mr. Lukas Enembe – Klemen Tinal and the ranks express my gratitude to the community who have provided support so that they can lead two terms," he said. ***
