JAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun immediately formed a working team in each priority field, to complete five priority programs according to the direction of the Home Minister, as well as efforts to control and evaluate them.
This was conveyed by Acting Governor Ridwan, in his official statement, on Thursday (14/9/2023), in his office.
"I will form a Working Team and each priority area will be appointed by the person in charge. This is to facilitate control and evaluation in its implementation," he explained.
While the first five priority programs of the Governor, consolidate internally and externally with all relevant parties. The Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Papua (including National Armed and Police Forces, leaders as well as regents and mayors. "To the New Autonomous Region province, ministries and institutions in Papua," he said.
Second, continued Ridwan, conducting facilities and organizing Presidential, Legislative and Regional Head Elections. Third, identifying and implementing national and regional priority programs. "Such as alleviating extreme poverty, stunting and malnutrition as well as controlling inflation," said Rumasukun.
The fourth priority program is accelerating and sustaining development. Among them is coordinating with BP3OKP (Agency for the Acceleration of the Implementation of Papua Special Autonomy Development).
"As well as coordination of the determination of the Papua Provincial Budget for Fiscal Year 2024, coordination of the preparation of the initial draft of the 2025-2045 RPJPD (sustainability of Papua's development and reference for candidates of Governor and Deputy Governor in the preparation of Vision and Mission)."
"In addition, efforts to coordinate the determination of the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) document for Papua Province," he said.
The fifth program, he added, carried out organizational and management institutional strengthening in supporting the implementation of government and post-New Autonomous Region development.
