JAYAPURA - Health workers at hospitals in Jayapura City finally met with the Papua Provincial Government, on Friday (6/10/2023),conveying their aspirations to ask for Employee Income Allowance (TPP).
In the meeting which took place on the 3rd floor of the Papua Governor Office, the health workers were received by the Head of Bappeda Papua, Yohanis Walilo representing the Acting Governor of Papua, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun. Meanwhile, the health workers were represented by the directors of the three hospitals.
After the meeting, one of the health workers at Jayapura Hospital, Barbalina Dekeniap stated thattheir aspirations had been accepted and would be discussed as soon as possible by the Papua Provincial Government. They also received an explanation submitted regarding the financial condition of the Papua Provincial Government in the meeting.
"From the meeting, it was conveyed that everything would be processed and would be discussed by the acting Governor of Papua and the Acting Secretary of Papua. But when our aspirations are answered is not determined," she told reporters.
She ensures that the health workers are ready to follow all existing mechanisms and will carry out their duties at their respective hospitals.
"But the health workers will still hope that their aspirations can be answered according to the financial situation of the Papua Provincial Government."
"Our hope is the Employee Income Allowance will be added or returned to normal. In our meeting today there has been no decision and it will be the discussion of the Acting Governor," she said.
It is known that the meeting followed up on the submission of the aspirations of health workers related to equal rights of Additional Employee Producers some time ago. These health workers come from Jayapura Hospital, Abepura Hospital and Abepura Mental Hospital. ***
