JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun was officially inaugurated as the administrator of the Regional Leadership Council of the Indonesian Policy Analysts Association (AAKI) Papua for the 2023-2028 period, Friday (10/13/2023) morning, in Jayapura City.
The management of AAKI Papua was also filled by Acting Secretary Derek Hegemur, Head of the Regional Apparatus Organization and a number of Governor's Expert Staff.
After the inauguration, Ridwan Rumasukun advised all levels of local AAKI administrators to oversee the quality of policies in Papua Province. The implementation of national and state life today is largely determined by existing regulations.
"Of course, it can't be in the usual ways. We must make maximum use of information technology so that the results of the analysis carried out can be optimally useful," said Ridwan.
He added that the role of policy analysts is expected to further improve the assessment and analysis of a policy or regulation. Because the estuary is to produce credible recommendations for the government.
Chairman of the Central Leadership Board of AAKI, Trubus Rahadiansyah said this policy analyst is a new profession in Indonesia.
Nevertheless, AAKI has developed into a fairly good force as a partner of the government in providing further support.
"A policy analyst can provide advice and recommendations to relevant institutions, then build synergy. This is very important for the Central DPP and DPP of Papua to specifically hold routine activities," he said.
According to Trubus, synergy in terms of work programs is also important. Especially work programs that are not only beneficial for institutions but also for the community.
"Because the important thing is how policies can be accepted by the community. Quoting the President, policy analyst is a profession that is needed now and, in the future," he said. ***
