BOTAWA - The Family Welfare Empowerment Team of Papua has distributed 1,200 packages of Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) assistance to Integrated Service Post in four districts.
Most recently, the Acting Chairman of the Family Welfare Empowerment of Papua, Linda Onibala handed over PHBS package assistance during her working visit in Waropen Regency, on Thursday (10/19/2023).
The handover of thousands of packages along with the baby scales was carried out after she had only been inaugurated for 17 days.
Linda wants to focus on accelerating the reduction of stunting rates to support national strategic programs.
"We hope it could be useful for the Integrated Service Post in Waropen."
"We also hope that the Family Welfare Empowerment Team of Waropen can be more enthusiastic and focus on handling stunting," explained Linda, at Mekar Jaya Integrated Service Post, Usaiwa Village, Hureyfaisey District, Botawa, Waropen.
Meanwhile, of the 1,200 PHBS, each 300 packages will be distributed in Sarmi, Supiori, Yapen and Waropen regencies.
The delivery of PHBS package assistance to accelerate stunting reduction will continue. Because the Acting Chairman of the Papua Family Welfare Empowerment wants to make a working visit to all regencies and cities in Papua.
"It was our first visit to Waropen. We had a plan when we were inaugurated as Acting Chairman of the Papua Family Welfare Empowerment to visit 9 regencies and cities in Papua."
"This is the third district we visited after being inaugurated in early October. And we hope for cooperation and synergy of programs between provinces and city districts so that they can jointly run 10 programs of Family Welfare Empowerment, including stunting reduction," she invited.
