JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun encouraged graduates in Cenderawasih Earth to become scholars, mobilizers and pioneers in the community and in the development process.
"Show your ability and competence. Develop independence and work professionally," invited Governor Rumasukun to all graduates of Ottow Geissler, on Monday (10/23/2023), in Jayapura City.
According to the Governor, the graduation agenda held this time is a reflection of the success of education implementation. So, it should not only be viewed as a routine ceremonial event but should be acted wisely to make corrections to the managerial process of providing education, starting from planning, implementing, monitoring and assessing the results that have been achieved.
"Because this success is the result of hard work and the efforts of the entire range of Ottow Geissler Papua University," he said.
According to the Governor, the changes that are currently happening include almost in various fields, such as social, economic, political, media and education. Especially with the expansion of the New Autonomous Region, the role of universities must have an impact on everything.
"So on this occasion, I would like to convey that the government believes that the existence of the New Autonomous Region is a step forward to change the development gap, and make the distribution of welfare evenly distributed in Eastern Indonesia."
