JAYAPURA - The Acting Governor of Papua officially issued a mandatory rule to follow the joint briefing every Monday morning at the Governor Office yard, Jayapura City.
The regulation is contained in Circular Number 800/1401/SET, concerning morning briefing within the Papua Provincial Government.
"The circular letter is to enforce discipline and improve the performance of civil servants, the Head of Regional Working Unit and all employees must follow the morning briefing."
"Morning briefings are carried out every Monday at the Governor's Office Yard," explained the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Agency, Jeri A. Yudianto in Jayapura City, Thursday (1/2/2024).
According to Jeri, the briefing will be held at 7.30 in the morning. Meanwhile, the Head of Regional Working Unit is also required to report the presence of their employees to the Governor of Papua, through the Head of the local Civil Service Agency (BKD).
"This means that there will be sanctions for those who do not participate in the briefing. So we appeal to all civil servants to comply with this rule," he hoped.
Jeri added the presence of civil servants in the morning briefing is not only a form of increasing discipline as a state civil apparatus. But also to listen to the direction of leaders related to development policies and community services that are currently running.
"So we hope that this new regulation can be implemented by all civil servants," he concluded. ***
