JAYAPURA - Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun through Acting Secretary Derek Hegemur officially inaugurated 113 Acting Administrators at the local Governor's Office, Jayapura City, Friday (15/3/2024).
Ridwan reminded the newly appointed officials that the duties and responsibilities carried were very heavy.
"Therefore, I ask you all to work earnestly with dedication and high integrity," explained Ridwan in a written speech read by the Regional Secretary, Hegemur.
Ridwan emphasized three special messages to newly appointed officials so that public services can run optimally.
"First, immediately carry out duties and responsibilities with passion, devotion and dedication."
"Second, pay close attention to applicable regulations and policies including local wisdom that support function in each regional apparatus to provide the best service," he said.
Third, he continued, work smartly, honestly, trustfully, creatively and innovatively to solve various problems in Papua.
Ridwan added that this inauguration is part of an effort to improve the performance and effectiveness of the government in Papua. On the other hand, as a result of the formation of a new Regional Apparatus Organization based on Regional Regulation 18 of 2023 concerning the formation of regional apparatus arrangements, mutations and rotations for refreshment fill vacancies.
So it is hoped that with the inauguration of a new administrator, the wheels of government will turn better and provide optimal services to the community.
Head of the Papua Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) Marthen Kogoya confirmed that shortly there will be the inauguration of the second volume of administrator and supervisory officials, but is waiting for the issuance of technical regulations from the National Civil Service Agency and a letter of approval from the Home Minister. ***
