JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government immediately repaired the medical waste combustion engine of Jayapura Regional Hospital, which was reportedly damaged.
According to the Acting Governor of Papua, Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, some damaged equipment will be repaired in addition to repairing hospital waste treatment machines, so that services to the community can run optimally.
"We will help repair damaged waste or hospital waste burning engines, and we will also check the electricity. The task of the Secretary will check how much it costs, we will immediately help."
"The government will immediately repair damaged hospital equipment," explained Acting Governor Ridwan, after reviewing the Jayapura Regional Hospital, on Monday (18/4/2024).
During a visit to RSUD Jayapura, the Governor was accompanied by the Regional Secretary of Papua, Derek Hegemur, Assistant II of Papua Regional Secretariat, Suzana Wanggai and the Head of the Health Department, Roby Kayame.
In a review at RSUD Jayapura, medical personnel reported several things that became the main problems in hospital services.
"We want to ensure that hospital services here are good, after getting detailed reports and data from hospital management," he said.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Papua Provincial Health Office, dr. Aaron Rumainum admitted that several problems occurred at the Jayapura Regional Hospital.
It was mentioned that the problems that occurred in the hospital owned by the Papua Provincial Government were such as damaged medical equipment, including hospital waste management machines and generators.
