JAYAPURA—The Acting Governor of Papua Ramses Limbong visited Integrated Health Services of Mimoso II Denzipur 10/KYD Waena on Tuesday (8/10/2024) to hand over assistance in the form of supplementary food provision (PMT) packages.
During the working visit, the Governor was accompanied by the Chairman of the Papua Family Empowerment and Welfare, Kerdina Ramses Limbong, and some heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).
In his direction, Limbong invited all parties to prevent newborn stunting by providing sufficient additional food for children and pregnant women. He also asked regents and mayors in Papua to pay special attention to stunting prevention.
"I also ask the management of the Integrated Health Services in Papua to coordinate with the local government. Tell me if there is any medical equipment needed, because I am sure that with good coordination the target of reducing stunting will be achieved," he said.
Ramses also ensured that he would regularly visit Integrated Health Services owned by the Indonesian National Armed Force and Police to minimize stunting.
On that occasion, Acting Governor Ramses Limbong assisted IDR 50 million for the needs of the Integrated Health Services of Mimoso II Denzipur 10/KYD.
Meanwhile, the Acting Mayor of Jayapura assisted with medical equipment and a computer. ***
