JAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Papua, Agus Fatoni, urged all civil servants across Papua Province to enhance their performance to accelerate budget implementation. He made this statement while leading the Neutrality Declaration Ceremony and Signing of the Integrity Pact for Civil Servants from the Provincial and Regency/City Governments of Papua Province at the Governor's Office Field in Jayapura on Monday (July 21, 2025).
"I also urge civil servants to maintain their performance and even further improve it," Fatoni said.
"We need to speed up budget realization because it drives economic growth, increases money circulation in society, and stimulates financial activity in other sectors. If this movement happens, it will boost people’s purchasing power and foster economic growth," he added.
Fatoni reminded civil servants to study and adhere to all applicable regulations. He also encouraged them to learn how to plan and manage budgets effectively to ensure optimal budget execution.
"In the implementation of programs, we must synchronize and align planning, budgeting, execution, and accountability," said Fatoni. ***
