WAROPEN – Acting Governor of Papua, Agus Fatoni, together with Acting Chairperson of the Papua Provincial Family Welfare and Empowerment Movement Team, Tyas Fatoni, conducted a working visit to Waropen Regency. Their first stop was the Alfamega Paradoy Early Childhood Education Center (PAUD), demonstrating their commitment to the growth and development of young children in Papua’s coastal areas.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Fatoni and Tyas Fatoni personally handed over aid packages for the PAUD children, including stationery, children’s storybooks, healthy snacks, and other learning supplies. They also provided vitamins to support the children’s health and immune systems.
“Children are the future of Papua and the future of Indonesia. We are here to ensure they receive attention, love, and proper facilities from an early age,” said Fatoni at PAUD AlfaMega Paradoy, Waropen Regency, Papua, Friday (August 1, 2025).
This visit reflects the Papua Provincial Government’s commitment to strengthening human resource development from early childhood, especially in remote areas. Fatoni encouraged the community and local stakeholders to collaborate in improving early childhood education services.
“If our children are healthy and smart from an early age, then we can look forward to a golden generation ready to build Papua and the nation,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Tyas Fatoni expressed her hopes that children in Papua will grow into healthy, intelligent, and excellent individuals, supported by parents, educators, and the government.
“By providing nutritious food, vitamins, and appropriate educational stimulation, we are preparing these children to become quality human resources for Papua’s future,” said Tyas Fatoni. ***
