JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Agency for Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation will review the 45 percent budget absorption target of Special Autonomy funds together with the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance of the Ministry of Finance.
Acting Head of Papua Bapperida, Jimmy Alberto Thesia, said the fund disbursement process will take place in Jayapura.
This follows the realization rate of Special Autonomy funds by all Regional Apparatus Organizations, which averages only 26 percent.
“Meanwhile, overall fund realization stands at only 51 percent,” Jimmy explained.
He noted that the requirements for fund disbursement are stipulated in the Minister of Finance Regulation No. 33 of 2024, which requires budget absorption of at least 50 percent for the second phase.
In addition, output achievement must reach a minimum of 15 percent, accompanied by the submission of budget realization reports. Other requirements include reporting output achievements from the previous year’s SiLPA (remaining budget balance), and specifically for Papua, the realization report of the SUP (Special Autonomy Performance Report).
