JAYAPURA – Acting Governor of Papua, Agus Fatoni, welcomed Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and his entourage at Sentani International Airport, Jayapura, Papua, on Wednesday (September 17, 2025).

The Vice President was also greeted by Commander of the XVII/Cenderawasih Regional Military Command Maj. Gen. TNI Amrin Ibrahim, Commander of the Naval Regional Command X Maj. Gen. TNI Mar Werijon, Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police Brig. Gen. Pol Faizal Ramadhani, Commander of Silas Papare Air Base Air Vice Marshal TNI Mokh. Mukhson, and Head of the Papua State Intelligence Agency Brig. Gen. TNI Bayu Sudarmanto, along with their respective aides.

The Vice President’s visit to Papua is part of a series of working agendas aimed at strengthening development programs and promoting welfare in the province. His official program will continue for two days until Thursday (September 18).

The Vice President is also accompanied by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Ribka Haluk, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Yuliot Tanjung, Acting Head of the Vice President’s Secretariat Al Muktabar, and other members of the entourage. ***
