JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team (TP PKK) routinely holds Ecumenical Worship services together with various women’s organizations, as part of its monthly program.
Most recently, the Papua Provincial Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team held an Ecumenical Worship service with the Fellowship of Church Children and Youth, hosted at Lukmen Hall, State Building, Jayapura, Papua, on Saturday (September 27, 2025).
The service was attended by the Acting Governor of Papua, Agus Fatoni, and the Acting Chair of the Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team of Papua, Tyas A. Fatoni. On this occasion, Fatoni expressed his appreciation to the Papua Provincial PKK for consistently organizing worship and prayer activities.
According to him, this program not only strengthens togetherness but also demonstrates a commitment of faith in building a religious, resilient, and strong-charactered generation in Papua.
“We appreciate the Papua Provincial Family Welfare Empowerment Mobilization Team for regularly holding worship and prayer services. This reflects our commitment to Almighty God, while at the same time strengthening unity and togetherness,” said Fatoni.
He further emphasized the importance of prayer in daily life, particularly for children and youth, stating that prayer serves as a source of strength and motivation to achieve success.
“Those who pray diligently carry the spirit to succeed. Prayer is essential because God holds everything. Through prayer, we find the motivation to work, study, and strive,” he explained.
In addition, Fatoni advised Papua’s younger generation to use their time wisely, avoid negative habits, and develop positive practices that lead to progress.
“Successful people are those who can manage their time, set priorities, and surround themselves with positive environments. Avoid spending too much time gaming or loitering without purpose. It is better to use your time to study, read, engage with others, and improve yourself,” he encouraged.
Earlier, on Thursday (September 25, 2025), the Papua Provincial PKK organized an Ecumenical Worship service together with the Women’s Fellowship of Churches across Jayapura City, also at Lukmen Hall, State Building, Jayapura.
Previously, on Friday (August 8, 2025), another Ecumenical Worship service was held with women’s organizations throughout Papua Province at the same venue. ***
