JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government is strengthening its internal monitoring system ahead of the closing period for the 2025 State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN) submission. This effort was carried out through a Workshop and Data Validation Session for State Officials’ Wealth Report Mandatory Reporters in Jayapura on Tuesday (18/11/2025).
Papua Inspector General, Danny Korwa, stated that the activity aims to ensure all officials required to report fully understand the procedures and standards of document completeness. According to him, wealth report submissions must be done accurately to maintain the quality of oversight.
He emphasized the importance of coordination between mandatory-report officials and LHKPN administrators in each regional government unit. Administrators are encouraged to be more proactive in reviewing data and providing guidance to prevent errors during the validation stage.
“Preparing the LHKPN is not only about complying with regulations but also an essential part of transparency and integrity in government performance,” Danny said. He explained that data updates and the validity of asset information are aspects that continue to be strengthened.
Danny added that the regional government aims to ensure that all reporting processes are completed on time ahead of the end of the fiscal year. Layered monitoring is being implemented to prevent delays or data inaccuracies.
The Papua Provincial Government views the State Officials’ Wealth Report as an important instrument for safeguarding the accountability of public officials. This commitment is expected to support clean governance that earns the trust of the public. ***
