JAYAPURA – Papua Province has won the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) Award organized by Bank Indonesia (BI), being recognized as one of the best-performing provinces in 2025.

The five best-performing Regional Inflation Control Teams of Provinces in 2025 are South Sumatra, Central Java, East Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, and Papua.

Regarding the award, Papua Governor Matius D. Fakhiri stated that the achievement is inseparable from the hard work of the team.

“This is the result of what the former Acting Governor of Papua had accomplished. When I took office as governor, we were able to reap the benefits,” Fakhiri said on Tuesday (2/12).

He also expressed his appreciation to all parties within the Papua Regional Inflation Control Team for taking extraordinary steps to accelerate Papua’s development.

“With this award, the Regional Inflation Control Team now faces the challenge of maintaining this achievement next year,” he added. ***
