JAYAPURA — The Papua Provincial Government is strengthening cross-sector synergy in implementing the Bangga Kencana Program through the 2026 Regional Coordination Meeting in Jayapura on Tuesday (April 14, 2026).
Papua Vice Governor Aryoko A.F. Rumaropen said that the Regional Coordination Meeting serves as a strategic forum to unify the direction of population development policy in Papua.
"This Regional Coordination Meeting is important for aligning policy direction and ensuring that programs have a real impact on the community," Rumaropen said.
He stressed that population and family development are a foundation for improving the quality of human resources in Papua.
"The opportunity of the demographic bonus will become a strength if we can prepare high-quality human resources," he said.
The Papua Provincial Government hopes that this Regional Coordination Meeting will produce recommendations that can be implemented and further strengthen collaboration across sectors. ***
