JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government has designated eight flagship programs as development priorities for 2027. The programs are designed to have a direct impact on the community.
Papua Governor Matius D. Fakhiri said the programs cover sectors ranging from health and education to the community economy.
"These programs have been prepared to create a real social and economic impact," he said.
Some of the programs being prepared include maternal health protection through the KASIH Card, education assistance through the MACE Card, and elderly protection through the JALAN Card.
In addition, the government is also preparing mobile health services and the development of modern people's markets.
"The other programs include the provision of decent housing, improving regional connectivity, and developing strategic commodities," he added.
Through these programs, the Papua Provincial Government hopes development can be more focused and directly address the needs of the community. ***
