JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government has invited all Civil State Apparatus within the provincial government to participate in a community service and cleaning activity at Stadion Lukas Enembe, Jayapura Regency, on Sunday (10/5/2026).
The activity, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m Eastern Indonesia Time, is a form of collective concern for Papua's proud stadium as well as an effort to maintain public facilities so they remain clean, safe, and comfortable following the recent riot during the Persipura vs Adhyaksa FC Playoff Match.
Governor of Papua, Matius D. Fakhiri, together with Deputy Governor of Papua, Aryoko Rumaropen, called on all Civil State Apparatus personnel to attend and demonstrate the spirit of cooperation and a sense of ownership toward one of Papua's proud public assets.
"This activity is not merely about cleaning the stadium, but also serves as a symbol of unity, care, and shared responsibility to keep Papua harmonious and conducive," said the Governor of Papua in his appeal to all Civil State Apparatus personnel.
The Papua Provincial Government hopes that this initiative can serve as a positive example for the wider community that maintaining public facilities is a shared responsibility. In addition, this momentum is also expected to strengthen the spirit of togetherness and solidarity among the people of Papua following the recent incident. ***
