JAYAPURA – Papua Deputy Governor Aryoko Rumaropen attended the launch of the Anti-Corruption Education Guidebook and Teaching Materials, which was held in conjunction with the Inflation Control Coordination Meeting online from the Regional Secretary's Meeting Room at the Papua Governor's Office on Monday (May 11, 2026).

The national event was attended by Assistant Regional Secretaries and the Papua Provincial Regional Inflation Control Team as a means of synergy between the central and regional governments to strengthen character education and maintain national and regional economic stability.

On the occasion, the Papua Deputy Governor emphasized that anti-corruption education is a strategic step toward building the character of Papua's younger generation as people of integrity, discipline, and responsibility. According to him, the values of honesty and transparency must be instilled from an early age through education to produce future generations capable of leading Papua toward a better future.

"Anti-corruption education is very important to be instilled from school age as part of character development for Papuan children. We want to produce a generation that is not only intelligent, but also has integrity and responsibility in building Papua in the future," said the Papua Deputy Governor.

In addition, during the Inflation Control Coordination Meeting, the Papua Provincial Government, together with the Regional Inflation Control Team, continued to strengthen cross-sector coordination to maintain price stability and the availability of necessities among the community. These efforts are carried out through monitoring goods distribution, strengthening markets, and anticipating price increases in various regions of Papua.

"We hope that synergy between the central and regional governments will continue to be strengthened so that regional economic stability is maintained, the distribution of necessities runs smoothly, and the community can feel the positive impact of inflation control policies," he added.

The Papua Provincial Government views the strengthening of integrity through anti-corruption education and inflation control as an important part of supporting the vision of Papua's Transformation toward an advanced, harmonious, and prosperous Papua. ***
