The Papua Provincial Government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the effectiveness of government organizations by filling several vacant structural and functional positions. A total of 130 officials were inaugurated to fill positions that had remained vacant since last year.
The Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency (PUPR) of Papua Province aims for all physical works for the 2025 fiscal year to be fully contracted by no later than the second week of August. The contractual process is carried out in stages, starting with consultancy activities that are currently underway.
Acting Regional Secretary of Papua Province, Suzana Wanggai, along with the ranks of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), officially opened the 2025 Papua Province Disability Athlete Talent Scouting event with the theme “Breaking Boundaries” on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the Trikora Sports Hall (GOR), Cenderawasih University, Jayapura.

The Papua Provincial Government is calling on all citizens to actively participate and maintain a peaceful atmosphere during the re-vote for the Papua Gubernatorial Election, scheduled for August 6, 2025.
