JAYAPURA - The placement of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to the three new provinces is confirmed to be regulated directly by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), while the Provincial Government only does coordination.
"It must be the regulatory authority by the Ministry of Home Affairs so that the main province is only coordination," said the Head of the Regional Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) of Papua Province, Yohanis Walilo to reporters in Jayapura, Wednesday (11/16/2022).
Walilo said that there are about 3,200 State Civil Apparatus that will be stationed in three new provinces in Papua.
The three provinces are Central Papua, South Papua and Highlands Papua.
Meanwhile, these 3,200 more State Civil Apparatus will be shifted to the three new provinces, consisting of Echelon II, III, IV officials and staff.
Meanwhile, each new province will be placed with more than 1,000 State Civil Apparatus.
"If the initial draft from the Ministry of Home Affairs is 1,000 employees consisting of echelons and staff so in total it is around 3,200 more".
"But as we go along, there will definitely be additions or wait until 2024 after there is a definitive governor to fill all positions," he concluded. ***
