JAYAPURA – The Head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) was instructed to prepare a report on the end of the governor's term, related to the results of the development that has been carried out by each agency over the past five years.
This was conveyed by Papua Regional Secretary Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, in Jayapura, Monday (9/1/2023).
According to him, the final report will be submitted at the Plenary Session of the DPRP for further forwarding to the public.
"The term of governor's office is 7 months left, therefore I ask the Head of the Provincial OPD, please complete the final report which must go in by April 2023 at the latest. And it can be submitted to the DPRP at the end of the governor's term," he added.
Meanwhile, regarding the decline in Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget of Papua (APBD), the Regional Secretary said this was due to the impact of the expansion of the three New Autonomous Regions. In terms of income, it decreased by 67 percent compared to 2022, while for spending it decreased by 64.44 percent.
"Indeed, the decline in the Papuan regional budget in 2023 affects employee spending. Because to this day, the employee is still in Papua Province and has not been distributed. Hopefully in the near future employees can be distributed to the three New Autonomous Regions," he hoped.
However, Ridwan said that the decline in the Papua Regional Budget in 2023 is not a problem for the Papua Provincial Government. Because the scope of government was also reduced to eight districts and one city.
Meanwhile, coordination will be built with the new administration so that the administration can run as it should in the three New Autonomous Regions. ***
