Jayapura - The Investment Office of One-Stop Integrated Services (BPMPTSP) of Papua Province held a Coordination Meeting for Monitoring the Fulfillment of Investment Permits and Non-Permits, Monday (25/6/2023), in Jayapura.
The Functional Officer of Policy Analyst for the Economic and Financial Sector of the Papua Regional Government, Anni Rumbiak said that the mandate of the Job Creation Law, Number 11 of 2020, followed by Government Regulation Number 5 of 2021 concerning the implementation of risk-based business licensing, is a challenge for every officer in licensing services.
Especially with the existence of the New Autonomous Region (DOB) the consequences for changes in regional spatial planning, where one becomes the beginning and fundamental in the licensing process. Therefore, DPMPTSP as a licensing service provider needs to maximize coordination in an integrated manner with technical agencies that take care of permits in each sector.
"Moreover, regulations related to permits and systems built today follow the demands of globalizationIn the current government administration, we are increasingly faced with phenomena that lead to the application of information technology in various sectors that have an impact on simplifying licensing”, he said.
Meanwhile, to realize the certainty and hope of simplifying licensing, there certainly needs to be an understanding of the implementation of business licensing services. Thus, the real responsibility is not solely in the Provincial DPMPTSP in its implementation.
However, it is necessary to establish intense coordination and communication between sectors, including with other parties who are competent in issuing basic permits, such as approval of spatial planning conformity activities (PKKPR), Building Approval (PBG), and environmental approval.
"Last but not least, in licensing services we strive to improve the work of excellent licensing services to the community. Soon, every licensing service officer must be equipped with adequate administrative and technical capabilities," he said,
It is known that the Investment Licensing and Non-Licensing Compliance Monitoring Report was opened by the Functional Officer of Policy Analyst for Economic and Financial Affairs of the Papua Regional Government, Anni Rumbiak. The meeting was attended by the DPMPTSP of Papua and the Regional Apparatus Organization for technical licensing and non-licensing Districts / Cities. ***
