JAYAPURA - The Korpri Papua futsal team is confirmed to follow the basketball and volleyball match that have entered the knockout phase.

Winning 3-0 against Bappenas RI, at the Undip Futsal Sports Center, Sunday (16/7/2023), in the continuation of the preliminary round of the 2023 Korpri Pornas XVI Futsal in Semarang, Central Java, was enough to bring the Papuan team to the top of the standings.

The Papua Futsal team has now separated one last match in group A against the Coordinating Ministry of PMK. Although not decisive, the Papuan team is determined to win.

The Head Coach of Korpri Papua Futsal, Daud Arim hopes that the players can perform optimally like the previous match because Papuan Futsal wants to sweep the victory.

"Actually, they can score a lot of goals, so the collectivity of play must be maintained and we will evaluate in the future because we need to win. "

"The match today is an evaluation to the next match because we automatically qualify but all preliminary matches still have to win until the next round," he said.

While in the second match this afternoon, Futsal Korpri Papua fielded their best players such as Ricardo Salampessy, Tinus Pae and Ortisan Solossa.
