JAYAPURA - Acting Papua Regional Secretary Derek Hegemur immediately instructed all Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the local government, to maximize budget absorption in each of the agencies, considering the effective time of government administration which is only more than a month away.

"I will coordinate each Regional Apparatus Organization to boost the absorption of the 2023 Regional Budget. The goal is that spending on programs or activities can be absorbed well according to community expectations."

"I will also ask regional heads in regencies and cities as representatives of the central government in the regions so that we all walk together to provide the best service to the community ahead of the end of this fiscal year," explained Secretary Hegemur in Jayapura, Wednesday.

Separately, the Head of the Papua Communication and Informatics Agency (Kominfo), Jeri A. Yudianto, ensured that he immediately carried out the leadership's instructions regarding budget absorption.

"I will immediately order all staff to meet the demands of the leadership because indeed the effective period of the government is only one month away."

"Later I will meet with the staff to find out and evaluate the absorption in our agency then do action. I think all agencies will do the same, "said Jeri. ***
