JAYAPURA - The Papua Provincial Government encourages Related Regional Apparatus Organizations to meet the target of productive-age voters in the implementation of the simultaneous regional elections on November 27, 2024.
It was conveyed by the Head of the Papua Provincial Communication and Informatics Service, Jeri Agus Yudianto, in Jayapura, on Monday.
According to Jeri, one of these efforts is to maximize the Indonesia Awareness of Population Administration (GISA) program. "Papua Provincial Government is encouraging all processes that the district or city government has done," he explained.
According to Jeri, the Gisa program is believed to accelerate population data, especially at the productive age or novice voters.
In addition to Gisa, there is also a Digital Population Identity (IKD) notification service through the Population Administration Information System (SIAK online) that can be used by the public.
"So that way, the Customs Identification Number (NIK) will be recorded properly and can be used during the simultaneous regional elections in November," he said.
Jeri added that with this remaining time, it is hoped that it can be used by the supporting agencies, in this case, the Population and Civil Registration Office in the district/city so that voter participation in the simultaneous regional elections can be maximized. ***
