JAYAPURA - Following up on the Coordination Meeting to monitor the implementation of the 2024 Papua Provincial Regional Elections on November 25, 2024, last Monday, the Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong immediately conducted a review of several logistics storage sites and some polling stations in Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency areas on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
Around 10 o'clock Acting Governor and several heads of the Regional Work Unit who are members of the Papua Provincial Election Desk visited the Regional Election logistics storage warehouse of the General Election Commission around the PTC Entrop.
Before reviewing the logistics storage warehouse owned by the Jayapura General Election Commission, Ramses Limbong in his direction said that the Papua Provincial Government, Regency/City Government is tasked with facilitating the implementation of democracy party activities to run safely and smoothly, "The main task of the Provincial General Election Commission and the City General Election Commission don't mix it up as if this is the task of the Mayor or the Provincial Government. Our task is to be responsible for how the democratic party activities can run smoothly. For this reason, cooperation is needed from all cross-stakeholders who already have duties and responsibilities," said Ramses Limbong.
After reviewing the readiness of the logistics distribution of the Regional Elections at the Jayapura City storage warehouse, the Acting Governor of Papua and his entourage headed to Polling Station 04 in East Koya Village, Muara Tami District, continued to the logistics shelter warehouse in Jayapura Regency and ended his visit at Polling Station 03 Dobonsolo Village, Sentani District.
Previously, at the Coordination Meeting held with the Acting Regents/Mayors, General Election Commission and General Elections Supervisory Agency, it was reported that all logistics distribution that will be distributed to all polling stations in the district and city areas will be ensured to arrive at each polling station according to the schedule and before the voting day.
