JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government is calling on all Papuan citizens, especially those listed in the Final Voters List, to go to polling stations and exercise their voting rights in the upcoming gubernatorial revote this August.
Acting Governor of Papua, Ramses Limbong, urged the public to use their right to vote to choose their leaders.
“I encourage all citizens in Papua Province whose names are listed in the Final Voters List to use their voting rights,” the Governor urged.
He emphasized the importance of public participation, as every single vote is crucial in determining Papua New Guinea’s future direction.
“One vote plays a major role in determining our leader for the next five years, especially in Papua. So, use your vote wisely,” he said.
He also called on all Papuan citizens to maintain public order and security, creating a peaceful and safe environment to support economic activity.
“Let’s maintain peace and harmony on this land. We may have different choices, but we remain united as the people of Papua,” he stressed. ***
