JAYAPURA – The Papua Provincial Government has reaffirmed its commitment to improving the welfare of civil servants through the timely and transparent payment of the Employee Income Allowance.
The Acting Head of the Papua Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency Rusdianto Abu, stated that the government has allocated a budget of IDR 46 billion for two months of Employee Income Allowance. payments, with a monthly requirement of approximately IDR 23 billion.
“Papua Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency will immediately follow up on the Governor’s directives. The two-month payment, totaling IDR 46 billion, will be disbursed next month,” Rusdianto said in Jayapura.
According to him, this policy follows Governor Matius Fakhiri’s directive, which emphasizes discipline, integrity, and the improvement of civil servants' welfare within the Papua Provincial Government.
Rusdianto explained that Employee Income Allowance payments for the following months will be scheduled through December 2025 and realized in January of the following year. The payment process will be based on both digital and manual attendance data, which serve as indicators for employee performance evaluation.
“We ensure that the payment mechanism is fair and performance-based. Civil servants who demonstrate discipline will certainly receive their entitlements according to their work performance,” he emphasized.
He also added that the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Papua will continue to strengthen regional financial governance to ensure that all employee entitlements are paid on time. This step is expected to enhance bureaucratic performance and improve the quality of public service delivery in Papua.
“The Employee Income Allowance payment is not only a matter of financial entitlement but also a form of appreciation for civil servants who demonstrate strong performance and high discipline,” Rusdianto concluded. ***
