The Papua Provincial Government has inaugurated a Hearing Center at Dok II Regional Hospital in Jayapura as part of efforts to strengthen specialist healthcare services in the region. The inauguration was led by Papua Governor Matius D. Fakhiri, along with the handover of hearing aids to residents, on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
The Papua Provincial Government began the 2026 working year with its inaugural assembly of civil servants within the Papua Provincial Government on Monday, January 5, 2026. The assembly served as a moment for consolidation and performance evaluation following the long year-end holiday.

He delivered the directive while leading the inaugural assembly of civil servants of the Papua Provincial Government on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The Papua Provincial Government has demonstrated interregional solidarity by providing humanitarian assistance to communities affected by disasters in Sumatra. A total of Rp500 million was allocated to support disaster response efforts in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatera.
