The Papua Provincial Government, through its Marine and Fisheries Office, is advancing plans to transform the Hamadi Fish Landing Base (PPI Hamadi) in Jayapura into a modern fisheries center. The initiative aligns with the recent visit of Indonesia’s Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, who emphasized the strategic importance of Papua’s abundant marine potential.
